California Notary Services Maximum California notary fees are governed by the Secretary of State. Individual notaries may also charge additional fees to cover travel, parking, the printing of documents, wait time, and other job-related expenses. Mobile Service Fee $45 – Covers up to 20 miles round trip $1 per mile – Applies to trips that exceed 20 miles If, for any reason, we travel to your location and the Notarization can't take place due to no fault of ours, you are still responsible for the mobile service fee.
